A: The 36V Samsung battery typically gives 30–50 km of assisted riding on a full charge, depending on terrain, rider weight, and how much you use the pedal-assist. Perfect for cruising around Bondi without worrying about running out of power!

A. Rides are charged by the hour. The first hour costs $25, and each additional hour is $15. The first 3 minutes are free. Maximum fares are $70 for 4 hours and $100 for 8 hours. Payment is handled instantly through the Linka Go app.

A: No need to be super fit! Bondi’s hills can be a workout, but your pedal-assist e-bike gives you a helpful boost so you can cruise up the slopes with ease. Just pedal at your own pace and enjoy the views!

Power On

• Press the M button on the right console

• Use the arrows to choose assistance:
  1 = light boost
  2 = more help
  3 = easy cruise
  4 = strong assist
  5 = max power for steep hills

Ride

• Use the throttle (right side) to start moving, then pedal

• Shift gears with the right lever (down) or thumb toggle (up)

Our e-bikes help you pedal, so people of all fitness levels can enjoy the tour. Riders should feel okay cycling on roads with some traffic and going uphill using gears. Basic to medium riding skills are best.

You can cancel at any time — all payments are handled through the Linka Go app, and you only pay when you ride. Just a heads-up: cancelling might mean someone else misses out on a ride, so ride responsibly and spread the good karma!

When you book, a $40 refundable security hold is placed on your card.

• At the end of your ride, the actual rental cost is deducted from this hold.

• Any remaining balance is released back to your card.

We reserve the right to charge the card on file for late returns, damage, or theft. If the bike is returned on time and in good condition, the full unused balance is refunded. Please see our full terms and conditions for more information
